Cryptachaea veruculata  (Urquhart, 1886)

Description

Conductor transversely truncated distally. Opisthosoma with dark median stripe, otherwise white, laterally brownish with dark stripes.

Body length male: 2.5-3.5 mm
Body length female: 3.7-5.2 mm
Additional information

On bushes and sometimes on trees. Imported from Australia or New Zealand and established in Scilly (GB) at the beginning of the 20th century, discovered in Belgium in 1992, further records is expected in Europe

This species of Australian origin is not native to Europe (alien species). It had been introduced to Europe at least once and could establish.
