Eresus rotundiceps  Simon, 1873

Description
Male

Palp as in E. kollari. Prosoma black, covered with black hairs, and with sparse white hairs, the sides of the thoracic part with a few red hairs. Cephalic part very raised, a little wider than long, regularly convex. Prosoma 5 mm long. Sternum black. AME about one diameter apart, PME at least twice as large as AME, and a little more than one diameter apart. Chelicerae black. Legs strong and black, leg I and II with white annulations, leg III and IV with red hairs on femur and patella, and a longitudinal line of red hairs on tibia, tibia I same length as patella I. Opisthosoma dorsally orange-red, black on the posterior side, and with 2 pairs of black blotches, the anterior pair is smaller, opisthosoma ventrally black, with a few red hairs on the sides.
