Description
Male

Characters as in female. Palp: femur twice as long as tarsus, bulb very large, pyriform, with a single short apophysis.

Body length male: 1-1.5 mm
Female

Palp: femur as long as tarsus, and as long as tibia and patella together. Prosoma scarcely longer than wide. Prosoma and sternum light reddish brown. Eyes absent. Anterior edge of labium with 4 strong bristles, and 8 small bristles. Chelicerae: promargin with a strong basal tooth, followed by 5 smaller teeth, retromargin with 4 teeth. Legs: femur I very widened, patella and tibia with one spine. Legs light reddish brown. Opisthosoma greenish, covered with long hairs.

Body length female: 1-1.5 mm
Additional information

In caves, mine. Altitude 1000 m. This spider makes very thin sheet-like webs in rock crevices. Egg sacs are discoidal and have 1.5 to 2 mm in diameter, they are formed by 2 thin sheets between which 3 or 4 eggs are laid (rarely one egg), eggs are relatively large, 0.4 mm in diameter. Spiderlings hatch after about 10 months, and the juveniles take 3 years to reach maturity. Adults may live for up to 12 years.
