Pseudomogrus squamifer  (Simon, 1881)

Description
Male

Prosoma light brown, covered with brown and white scales, 2 white longitudinal bands, thoracic part yellowish. Prosoma length: 1.75 mm. Sternum yellow. Chelicerae brown. Legs yellow with pale brown annulations and patches at distal parts of the segments. Opisthosoma: dorsum with brown median band and 2 brown lateral longitudinal stripes, sides grey-yellow, venter yellow.

Body length male: 3.8 mm
Female

Prosoma length: 2.08 mm. Colouration as in males except white bands on prosoma indistinct or missing. Sternum yellow with brown margin. Legs yellow, end of segments poorly marked. Opisthosoma: dorsum reddish with a single brown longitudinal band.

Body length female: 4 mm
Additional information

Habitat: coastal sand dunes.
