Cyrba algerina  (Lucas, 1846)

Beschreibung
Männchen

Prosoma dorsal hellbraun mit weiß behaartem, dunklem Rand, mit orangefarbenen Haaren, Kopfplatte dunkelbraun. Augenumrandungen schwarz, median mit langer dunkler Fovea. Opisthosoma schmal, dorsal orangebraun behaart, posterior dunkler, median W-förmige orange umrahmte Zeichnung aus weißen Haaren, posterior großer weißer Haarfleck. Palpus: Patella und Tibia gelbbraun, letztere sowie Cymbium schwarz unterlaufen. Apophyse zweispitzig.

Weibchen

Prosoma dorsal orangefarben mit rotbraunem Rand, durchscheinend hellgrau behaart, Kopfbereich dunkler mit schwarzen Augenumrandungen, langgezogene Fovea rotbraun. Opisthosoma dorsal mit hellgrauen Haaren, Zeichnung undeutlich winkelartig. Epigyne ankerförmig sklerotisiert.

Körperlänge Weibchen: 4.2-6.7 mm
Zusätzliche Informationen

Spezialisiert auf Netzspinnen als Nahrung, in deren Netze sie eindringt, dann die Netzspinne tötet und frisst (Jackson, 2000).
