Diaea livens  Simon, 1876

Description

Tibial apophysis with V-shaped groove between the 2 processes. Embolus with angular tip. Epigyne with tongue-like protruding part. Prosoma eye region white, female: reddish (yellow-brown in alcohol), male: with 2 dark longitudinal stripes. Legs with dark annulations. Opisthosoma cream-yellow, laterally and posteriorly with red-brown pattern (vanishes in alcohol), pattern stronger pronounced in males.

Additional information

Almost exclusively on oaks.
