Mecynargus borealis  (Jackson, 1930)

Description
Male

Prosoma: small size and conical elevation of ocular area, fovea trapezoidal. Opisthosoma dark.

Body length male: 1.4 mm
Female

Prosoma evenly rounded, dark yellow brown, veined and streaked with darker Markings. Sternum heart shaped, dark brown, almost black, studded with numerous small round yellow brown spots. Opisthosoma dark brown, studded all over with numerous round yellow brown spots, without pattern. Vulva characteristic.

Prosoma length: 0.5 mm.

Body length female: 1.45 mm
