Mughiphantes merretti  (Millidge, 1975)

Description

Cymbium with conical projection on prolateral side. Lamella with 2 branches, with several saw-like teeth. Prosoma pale brown in females, greyish brown in males, suffused with black on margins, fovea, striae and eye region. Sternum female: yellow-brown, male: black. Legs brown. Femur I-IV with 1 dorsal spine, femur I with an additional spine in distal half. Tibia I-IV dorsally with 2 spines, ventrally with 4 spines, 1 prolateral and 1 retrolateral spine in distal half. Metatarsus I-IV with 1 dorsal spine; TmI at 0.22. Opisthosoma black

Body length male: 2.25-2.54 mm
Body length female: 2.85-3 mm
