Description
Male

Colouration as in females.

Body length male: 5.4-8.8 mm
Female

Prosoma, sternum and legs yellowish. Opisthosma evenly covered with tiny silver pigment spots, except for cardiac area and a narrow ventral band to spinnerets.

Body length female: 8.6-12.3 mm
Additional information

This species was first described by Levi (1981) for North America and later detected in a few European locations (Uhl et al. 1992). It can be considered to be of North American origin (alien species) but may also be a Holarctic species. Therefore, it is listed here as cryptogenic.
