Vulva: spermathecae globular, clearly visible through the cuticula, median duct broad, about 0.25 times the width of the spermathecae, lateral ducts short. Prosoma, sternum and chelicerae yellowish brown. Prosoma 0.23 mm long. Eyes: PLE separated by more than 6 times their diameter, ALE and PLE contiguous. Clypeus high, about 3 times the diameter of ALE, with 6 long setae in 2 groups. Labium wider than long, fused to sternum. 4 eyes. Legs: darker, tarsus nearly twice as long as metatarsus, patella with a long strong dorsal seta. Opisthosoma globular, light yellowish brown.
Body length female: 0.52 (excl. chelicerae) mmCavernicole species. Egg sacs hanging from the web, with 2 or 3 eggs. As in other species, the web is sheet-like, horizontal, but in A. ataecina there are a number of vertical threads which suspend the web from above.
