Description
Male

Overall colouration darker than in females. Palps: femur dark, patella and tibia yellow, suffused with grey, cymbium black, at its base a distinct yellow spot. Prosoma: lateral bands broken at sides of head. Clypeus and chelicerae yellow. Legs: femora dorsally dark brown, with 2 pairs of longitudunal yellow stripes, tarsi I brownish. Opisthosoma with lanceolate stripe.

Prosoma length 2.4 mm, width 1.9 mm.

 

Body length male: 4.8 mm
Female

Prosoma length 3.2 mm, width 2.6 mm.

Body length female: 6.9 mm
Additional information

High mountains between 2500 and 3000 m in alpine pastures and meadows.

Habitus similar to P. pontica but differing in palp structure.
