Singa hamata (Clerck, 1757)
Description
Male palp with small, strongly bent hook on base of the long, pointed process. Epigyne with scapus, not reaching beyond lateral parts posteriorly. Prosoma black, posterior part rarely dark red-brown. Sternum black. Chelicerae black. Tarsus, tibia and patella III and IV distally darkened, legs (at least III and IV) therefore darkly annulated. Opisthosoma with 2 dark brown-black longitudinal bands, broken in the middle part by transverse stripes reaching from median band to brighter sides.
