Leptothrix hardyi  (Blackwall, 1850)

Description

Tibial apophysis short, bent. Embolus robust and broad, S-like bent. Paracymbium small and inconspicuous. Epigyne with distinctly indented posterior margin. Large, egg-shaped receptaculum seminis laterally. Prosoma brown, with distinctly darker margin. Male with strongly haired tubercle in eye region. Sternum brown. Chelicerae dark brown, anterior cheliceral furrow margin with 5, posterior with 2-4 denticles. Legs yellow-brown, short and robust. Opisthosoma unicoloured dark grey-black.
