Protoleptoneta italica  (Simon, 1907)

Description
Male

Similar to P. bulgarica. Palp: tarsus with a shallow transverse depression, followed by a small protuberance bearing a long spine. Prosoma pale yellowish olive. Legs with numerous spines. Opisthosoma pale yellowish olive.

Body length male: 2 mm
Female

Similar to P. bulgarica. Prosoma pale greenish brown. Legs: anterior femur with 2 apical spines, tibia and metatarsus with some spines. Opisthosoma pale greenish brown.

Body length female: 2 mm
Additional information

In caves, under very large stones in coniferous forests, in a burrow.
