Alopecosa kalavrita  Buchar, 2001

Description
Cymbium dark brown. Prosoma light yellowish brown, longitudinal stripes surround eye field, covered with short, whitish hairs. Sternum dark brown, labium dark brown. Chelicerae black-brown. Legs brown, coxae and femora yellowish. Legs female: coloured darker. Femur dorsally with vaguely brownish spots. Opisthosoma dorsally light grey, slightly pink. Posterior part of opisthosoma densely covered with short, white spots, ventrally black-grey. Female: pattern of opisthosoma less contrast-rich.
Additional information
alpine forest and scree slopes, in the mountains of Peleponnes (Greece), 1400-2300 m. Female genital morphology very similar to A. psammophila
