Mysmena leucoplagiata  (Simon, 1880)

Description
Male

Prosoma olive-brown, 0.36 mm long. Sternum unpigmented. Clypeus high, concave. Legs darkly annulated, coxae unpigmented. Metatarsus I: with thorn. Opisthosoma oblique oval, markedly higher than long, but without tubercle.

Body length male: 0.8 mm
Female

Epigyne with long scapus. Prosoma 0.4 mm long. Sternum a little longer than wide. Eyes: AME one diameter apart, almost contiguous to ALE, PME scarcely closer to each other than to PLE. Clypeus concave. Chelicerae: anterior margin with 3 teeth, posterior margin with one tooth. Opisthosoma brown, dorsally with 3 pairs of white blotches, lighter below and behind.

Body length female: 1.2 mm
Additional information

In dry litter, between branches, under stones, in oak, chestnut and pine forests. This species builds a small orb web.
