Araneus nordmanni  (Thorell, 1870)

Description

Epigyne with broad, roughly wrinkled scapus. Prosoma brown, eye region brightened. Sternum dark brown to black. Chelicerae brown. Legs brown, vaguely annulated. Opisthosoma dark grey-brown to black with light grey spots. Humps flat, on widest part of opisthosoma.

Body length male: 7.5 mm
Body length female: 8.5-10.5 mm
Additional information

probably in tree crowns of forests in low to medium mountain range
